Love Languages. A wonderful Aniversary day

This Wonderful Husband/ friend/ lover of mine
spent the day giving to me many wonderful gifts.
Last night he got to hear the washer , appalled he said
"you have been putting up with that"?

The bearing has gone out again .
Two years back he had to replace it.

With all the overtime I had not mentioned it to him...

Then...

Thursday he drove the truck "he said Hun this thing is pulling!"
So we postponed the forest until the marrow.

Today He took the children with him and ran errands to get the parts and the buns for lunch burgers.
He removed the old parts and bought the part and replaced the bearing and the washer is as new. He even replaced a cosmetic part so it looked pretty as new. It now is so nice to see that the washer does not look like an old piece of junk unkempt and such. See he knew my heart. He knew these things hindered me and his priority is to make my life as wonderful as he is able.

We never hire these things for we research and do it our self.
Doing this has saved us tens of thousands over our years together.
We both happen though to be very machanically inclined.

We dropped off the Truck and the guarantee was still active.
They thought we may have hit a pot hole.
Steve and I both think they forgot to tighten a bolt

Last night he had to remove the toilet because I accidentally had my debit card fall out of my jeans back pocket...
:(
He got it, and it was no easy or pleasant task.

It got flushed...
Steve fixed it.
He NEVER once spoke any ridicule or resentment.
He even had a very good laugh.
He, after doing that horrible job made me feel better about it by bringing in humor where I was so sorry to have caused the issue (even though it was a simple accident) that and I was terribly embarrassed.

He set the tent up in the back yard and rigged a light for them.
for disappointed children for we put the trip north off for the morrow.
They camped out in it last night and will again tonight.
(The dogs are with them and guard them well)
The tent is just outside our bedroom door.

This morning the kids were bothered that Daddy did not give me a gift.
What one day I hope to help them, and others understand is that...

He is the gift.
His heart gives in his own voice.
This evening he replaced the seal on the glass shower door.
This was on a "to do" list that he never has a chance to tend too doing 10 hour days.

He gave an evening to a sister in need , loving her with the kindness that she so needed from a brother. She is my dear friend. Those I love ...he loves as well . Deeply caring about who and what I care about.

After this long day as he always does he defers to me..."Hun, Would you like the first shower to heat soak your back and make it feel better....Always concidering me before himself.

My gifts to him today...
He was thrilled to have the new shop layout. It worked out so well to be able to do the washer job.
I planted some more peas in the garden, gave all the veggie and flowers some fish emulsion to help set more buds = more crop and flowers. Harvested raddish and peas.
Fed the tomatoes. I centered and renewed my mind by making what was important to me priority. He loves it when I do that for then I thrive.
Then The sweet peas that were planted last month outside the kitchen window are now set to climb a trellis. Several Mammoth sunflowers now are planted and some Indian blanket flowers too. A few more 4 o'clock's are in (flowers).
The wonderful Iris now have a better view for I trimmed the Indian Paint brush.
Lunch/ dinner
The flower beds cleared of spent flowers and leaves.
Creating beauty around us.

I am the gift given to him.

This is our marriage.
This is a union.

It is not in what we expect from each other...no.

It is in who/what we recieve in/and from each other.
It is who we are to each other.
Love spoken and silent.
All around us and in us,
and trough us.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.
It has been an awesome day!

You two are precious blessings, love you.

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
