here I am...

Captured a few moments here. Dove and Dan are sleeping. Dove is going to summer school 8:30-11:30. She LOVES it! yes you read right.
Dash and I have quiet mornings together. When Doves away it is so much quieter.
This week has been spent struggling to get the cpap machine warranted. It was totaled. Get this...by the room freshener at the hotel. Slept last night for the first time in four days!

So many wonderful things happened on vacation. The story of the cow being a good topic to post.

I have been doing a great deal of interior decorating. Absolutely LOVE what is coming of it. I thought I would do an experiment and fung shui the house. HUGE difference. It feels so much better to walk through open spaces. The studio is in flux for yesterday the room was switched around to face my working spaces East or South. The big cutting table now at the back wall. Flows ever so much and feels more demure.
Needs yet to get uncluttered but it is so hard to let anything go.

The garden has summer squash the size of a mans hand it grows so fast. Tastes like coconut.

With the 'WII fit' that Steve gave as a birthday gift I have lost several pounds of weight. That and walking five miles in four days at Disneyland. My new goal is 20 for the next three months. I love that my being has changed the way my mind considers the process. I am eager each day to take care of myself. My MILove gave me a referral some time back to the web site 'calorie count'. It has a menu plan with options. Check it out. All the guidance and direction set with the tools needed. It took me a while to get to it. It really is making all the difference not having to think about the menu and calorie counts. I don't feel starved at all. Printing out the weekly menu and the shopping list provided isawesome! The whole of the family eats it, of course they have more or other things as well. It is really a God send. Makes weekly meal planning a breeze. It is the food choice. It offers all home made, part pre-packaged or all pre-packaged. The homemade menu even giving the recipes for it on hot links.

This week also the appointment showed the bone graph in my jaw as healed! Two years time it took but no infection now and my body took to the cadaver bone.

I feel very blessed to have missions flowing on two fronts. The fung shi of the estate and the loving care of my health. We have also been selling unwanted items on Creigs list. The little income will pay for the birds and for the coop supplies.

Summer is a wonderful time here with the kids voices and the wild birds at my windows.

We are going to get five more hens. It was going to happen this weekend but Steve is called into a political luncheon at work on Saturday and the folks need some help moving large boxed at Sunday's visit. It has been far to long sense we have spent time together with them.

Gotta get on with the time of day at hand. It is so busy right now in my life. I'll try to get here and tell more of the trip.
Love ya all my dear friends. I pray for each of you upon fond remembrance.

I'll make efforts to get pics added to this post today if time permits.

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"

"For the LORD your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song."
