Good day to you!

Little Dove Swimming Last Sunday at the play date. She looks so worried.

Wow is is two already.
I have been going through Doves clothing passing on those that she has out grown. I want to clear out the rooms and closets dressers and shelves of all things to let go of before I begin on the toy job. One closet and dresser down! ya! We had a real nice mommy daughter time together. It feels so good to have so much less in her room. She is now doing a fashion show for Dash with the Barbie's. She is going to love the play dates to come with little girlie times. She told me how her little play friend of last Sunday had Barbie's and makeup stuff and Barbie shoes. She is now 10 going on 8 wow overnight transformation. So strange how my little girl lingers in development. Just so sweet how I get to enjoy it a little longer.
Washer hummed all morning as has the dishwasher and dryer too. It was quiet here relatively. I can't believe it is two already the day is going fast. I have an appointment to look into finishing the taxes. We had to for the first time file an extension. We sold a little stock to get Dash's hearing aids and the new flooring. We found this stock and it was not a part of our retirement. Well It just messed up my tax preparation. We had the stock over 25 years but we can only get 7 yrs of records. Hubby was able to get old info. Tax man was referred to us by family members x2 who found him a good resource. So for the first time in all these years I need help on them.
Tax guy thinks we may not have a capital gain but a loss. That would be helpful.
Kids will be with friend for our 4 p.m. appointment. Hubby and I alone don't think it would take a hand to count the times we have been alone since March 20 th when we went for our 25th anniversary overnighter (x3 ) that was so nice. I hope the evening turns out a little romantic and peaceful. Well its a visit to the tax guy. I can hope:)
better get up from my rest laundry calls and calls and calls(where did something so soft ever get such a loud voice). Well I better listen so I have a couch to sit on tonight. I need to do the "lead ins" shop today too.
Enjoy your afternoon!
I think I might pass 1000 hits for the month of July!
I am entering into my 3rd month of blog. Wow this is really a fun way to keep course and have affiliation with the "adult" world.:) My thoughts are so much more focused. Sorta like the journaling everyone has told me to do for years. I like this so much better.
I like to share lives.
All of you are so beautiful!!!!

So why did she look so worried? Hope everything is okay!

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
