Welcome Home Lemon Aide and Lemon Pudding (soy) Cake
Well that says all !
Dove met two new friends and is awaiting the little girl she saw last night after a long summers absence. Dash Hawk was on wing upon meeting me at the door. He had a good day! Thank you for all your prayers everyone. He met three new friends( shared the names) and even prayed for it to rain with one of them ( may it rain tonight). He tells me my cake was fantastic! The thirsty little souls drank up the homemade lemon aide! Ice crashing into the bottom of the large plastic cups!
Yes that is a BIG SMILE on their faces and tomorrow is a new day that they are both looking forward to .
I am grateful for the day. Much to tend too.
Enjoy life!

Indeed, the smiles do say it all.
lemon and soy don't seem to go together... but the cake looks inviting.
One never knows until they try it.
(I use soy milk in my tea and cereal)
I use a soy pudding mix. You just add tofu to the mix in a blinder with a little soy milk (they also have vanilla and chocolate). It is a mild lemon souffle' taste. The frosting a strong Key lime, and the cake lemon.
That does look good and anything lemony would get my vote. I've never cooked with soy so it would be interesting to give it a try sometime :)
This doesn't sound expected for cake, but how can you go wrong with lemon? I can almost taste its deliciousness :).
The cake looks great. How nice to see your Dash Hawk and Dove are enjoying school.
Sounds interesting, I love lemon cake but never made it with soya.
I use Soy to add protein into their diets. It makes a treat more nutritious. Balances the sugar so the falls don't crash so hard after the sugar rush. They don't have to know that though ;)
That does sound yummy! And they look thrilled!
