The EEG is over and the day continues. Life is good!

Hello,
Good Afternoon
What a difference two hours of sleep and a glass of home made lemon aide can make.
This morning I drove to the gas station. The Truck red light indicator came on and stayed on. Well you know how the tank can always hold just a little more after the pump shuts off?....My tank holds 17 gallons. The pump shut off at 16.24 gallons!
The attendant told me to have a good day. I told him the I had already had a nice day. I made it to the gas station!

The kids are home from school and I need to wash this goop out of my hair.
I was just so tired a nap was more desired than fresh hair.
It is like a very stiff moose/hair gel.

I will have to wait now for the February 3 appointment with the neurologist
then the February 6 testing at the physiologist.
That will be a two to three hour cognitive response testing.
While I was on the way home in the truck I got a call.
It was the lab to set the apt.
The blood drawl kit came yesterday.
She will be here at 9 a.m. (at the house) to draw for the DNA marker test for Alzheimer.
You folks best be glad I have a spell checker.
Wow I am not getting even a sentence here without using it.

I can sure tell I have been sleep deprived.
Glad I have no where to have to drive too.

Felt like a real long drive, I was so glad for a warm heater. I was shaking cold during the test shivering !
.

Dove had me drop off her Fur Real (child size) Butterscotch pony to a little girl who is a friend of the family. It was on the way home from the test. I almost wanted to sleep out front of her house, but pressed on home.
She asked my permission to give it to her. I told her it is her pony. Helped her understand and made sure she knew and she was totally open handed with it. I felt really happy for her to see her so easily free of it, It is good when we can share and let go of a treasure so another can find pleasure in it.
I saw her grow up a notch.
She said "I want to see her get to enjoy it Mom"

My girl friend (the child's Mother) had a strawberry pot I could use and sent it home with me. This article said to use a wrapping paper tube filled with stones/gravel and then carefully remove the tube.

Simple Strawberry Pot
Organic Gardening

She told me abut this technique. Where you drill holes in a plastic pipe.
Then just fill the pipe to water it.
Cool idea.
I'll need to tend to the terracotta it is a bit decomposed on the bottom of the pot.
I'll research what to use on it.

Dash came home with two little toys a kid gave him "for free , mom!"
on the bus ride home. So happy the kindness. It is wonderful seeing him so happy.

I got to wash my hair.
I only have to stay awake another 2 1/2 hours before my love comes home to me.
In 35 hours I have slept 3 1/2 hours.

Please pray for the Love of Shorty Bears life.
He came home VERY ill from work and she is tending him this evening.

Seems you really had a tough time. Pray the hardest part is over.

Why were you not allowed to sleep?
Take lots of rest and sleep off all the exhaustion.

What is a strawberry pot?

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
