Disney vacation part two

Saturday morning April 18,2009
Good Morning!
Who wants to go to Disneyland? The hotel had a great breakfast lay out with waffles and fruit, hard boiled eggs and so much more. That was a real convenience.
We hiked over next door to the big high rise hotel and caught the shuttle . We purchased a three day pass for 3 adults (11 and up is an adult ticket there) and 1 kid.
We were able to reuse as many times as desired.
supposed to come every 20 minutes HAHAHAH
I got a bridge in Alaska to sell ya too..smirk
Every day this fountain was the highlight of the morning for the kids.

We would wait and watch the kids, slather the sunscreen on and get all excited for the mile drive over to the main entrance. First day we had to go get the tickets into the park once we went through a baggage check.
It became very routine after the first day.

Tickets in hand we entered the park.

We had many a comment on the matching yellow bandannas. They did serve well to spot my kids in an instant. They also were wonderful when we got hot to wet them down and soak our necks.

Look at sweet Dove...
Now check out the girls behind her...Lord Lord...watch over those girls.

Once down main street the castle was a thrill for them.
The destination was the "tea cup ride".

Here we go!

I found a shady spot while the spun into giddiness.

and spun...note the purple cup.

"mom likes purple"...and spun...

Then it was off the the dreadful Indy ride.
While in the LONG, I SAY LONGGGGGGGGGGG line.
We had some nice moments He and I.
They were few.
We really hardly saw each other much.

This was the beginning of the end for any chance of getting Dove on a ride.

Dash and I took off and went on the Pirates of the Caribbean.
It was a really nice time with him.
He was a different sort of soul there.
Sorta grown up and indifferent.
He did not want me to touch him.

One we joined back up together the ride over to the Tom Sayer Island was set, a raft. Anything out doors passed her approval.
Once on the island they were off. I was so very protective of them.
During the time on the Island Steve let them play freely. We learned afterward a big kid was mean to Dash and Dash kicked him. I warned Dash to come to us. That the big kid could of given him a whoopin, to be careful.

I could not manage the climbing so I wandered and the tree of them ran through the place.
While Steve had Dove they saw this guy.

We again got together and the big Thunder Mountain coaster was a blast...well at least for three of us...make that just Steve and I. Dash hates coasters!!!!!!!!
We got wet and it cooled us down.

We waited in line and got what pictures we could...:{

Look and that glee!

They were both happy at the same time!

This was eventually the mane indoor ride she would do.

Oh!
I loved this!!!
I have always wanted to do this.

It is such a beautiful ship.

I had so much fun with the camera here I will have to do a separate post on the mast.

down below

Dash had such an even emote...he was so strange.

Dove stole the day with all the clinging.

"All hands on deck"
He has so much beautiful humor...
Unfortunately Dove had me exhausted...poor guy.

Dove off with Daddy man again.

Fairy dust.

We watched a parade

That first day Dove and I walked and walked while Daddy man and Dash rode many rides
Dove was just not into ANY rides!
So we enjoyed the sights and went over to tune town and rode a roller coaster.
Her and I really enjoy coasters.
At the very end of the day Dove fell for this ride, ya she rode a ride with Daddy man and brother.
I can not do round and round rides.
That's a day...
Now lets hike back to the shuttle dock and await a trip back to the Hotel.
Tired family.
We did not close the park down, enough was as good as a feast.

Looks like all of you had a great time, I think it's wonderful that families take trips together! I remember when we did fun stuff with our children, enjoy your little angles Donetta, they grow up so fast, your husband looks so tall! and of course you already knew this, but I'll tell you again, your children are just BEAUTIFUL! The 4 of you look GREAT together. Thank you for sharing!

I love this, thanks for sharing.

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
