Rest in Peace Dear Rena

Dash "I love her. She is the reason I wake up, and the reason I come home from school"

We just now returned from the vet. We put her to sleep to ease her suffering.
We all three held her hand.
No more pain.
She went peacefully.
Say a prayer for my children please.

Oh my dear friend, I know that is just the worst feeling one can have. You lost a friend today. Even though it may have been for the best, it still hurts the heart and soul. I am sorry for you and your family, Char

Donetta, I am so sorry for you all, they really are our family and I will say a prayer that you all in time wil recall all the joy he brought you all...When my cat past after 17 years I took a photo and printed off computer and decoupaged it onto a stone so Tori could sit in whatever room I was in...might be a project the family can do together. Look fr a flat surface stone you guys can get a big one and collage a timeline rock or get smaller sttones and thet can each have their own in their rooms...God bless Patricia

Oh, I am so very sorry you lost your special family friend. I am still reeling from the loss of Lennon last month so I know how sad you must feel. It hurts so much to lose a friend and so I'm praying God will comfort you all at this very difficult time. Hugs, Debra

Oh sweet Donetta, How I understand your pain. This post has brought tears and memories for me. March 25th of 09 I had to make that same choice with my beloved Blue. He had heart disease which is common in Great Danes. Even though I knew it was coming for months and tried to prepare, that day was just sooo hard, but I promised Momma would make it all better. It was one of the hardest moments in my life. As he drifted away I sang 'You are my sunshine' to him like I had done for years. Coming up on two years and I still have times of crying and missing him. I will MOST CERTAINLY be praying for you and the kids, Oh, how they must grieve, poor things. Be blessed, sweetie. I know it will be hard and you share any time you want. Here is a poem that I hope will give you some comfort. You did the right thing out of LOVE , you may question it in your pain, but you did, just know that. All my love and hugs...

PUT ME TO REST

Time to let me go my friend,
Because my life no-one can mend,
Its better to let me go this way,
Than watch me suffer night and day.

I'm happy to go, my time has come,
My quality of life is no longer fun,
Ive been so ill, so its not a bad thing,
To let me go forever resting.

Stay with me till I drift away,
Fast asleep forever I pray,
To relieve me from suffering and pain,
What more can I ask from my best friend.

Don't be sad, I'll be free from pain,
Never to be ill ever again,
I know you'll miss me being there,
But all the memories you have to share.

Thankyou for being my best friend,
And all my needs that you did tend,
Try not to be sad, try not to cry,
Now's the time to say goodbye.

I am so sorry she was a very sweet loving friend. (((HUGS)))

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
