My computer has been giving me fits for a long time now . Crashing at every effort to post to the point that posting was becoming a task. It is so nice now and down loading photos as it should. Maybe now I can get back to blogging as I love too. I have been very discouraged trying to succeed at posting images.

Oh the pleasure of talking with your neighbors

Good Day to you all!

I am gasping through the day but had to find  myself out in the garden you know. Well the golden was barking so, I went to see why. The new neighbors behind us were picking the oranges. The tree is in sad shape do to neglect. I taught them and encouraged them it is a good producer. Went on in and got my book and showed them what to do to bring it back to it's former glory. Her husband was nice. I being a might horse of voice obviously a threat to health let them know of it for their sake.
Their grandkids were there and everyone wanted to see the chickens. Head over wall one by one the joy on the faces of those who once knew what a farm was. Now mind you my "farm" is a little plot of earth. The charm of chicken is a mysterious thing.
The neighbors were real pleasant. It was for me to tell them of the old girl in the yards so they not panic if they come across her. We have the rare "Sonora Garter Snake" she is on the endangered list. Told them how she keeps us free of roaches and of rodents. Forgot to mention the scorpions she keeps away. Told them just encase they see her they don't just indiscriminately kill her. She and her babies have been around a good 9 years I have been here.

Here where we are folks just pull up and use an opener from inside the car go in and shut the garage the same way. When we first came here I went around and met the neighbors with a small trinket. When a new neighbor comes along a nice welcome is in order. Now this art of hospitality is becoming as foreign as the varied places folks come from. I love to know who my neighbor is. It is wise and wonderful too. At times it is not as pleasant but at least you know what your up against. Seems that kindness will eventually win them over. The garden is wonderful that way. Share some and the hearts open with greater ease.

It is a pleasure talking with your neighbors and becoming one.

Friday Funnies

Today I had to go to my physitions office.

I was promply give a breathing treatment of steroids and albuteral

Then the doctor came back in and she said we are going to have to give you and injection of steroids and another breathing treatment. I sounded like a percolator.

I said alright.

she said "I have to give it to you in your booby"

 Wide Eyed

"SAY WHAT!?, are you serious?"

"yes" she said you really need to have this"

"You are going to give me a shot in my booby?"

She looked at me and cracked up "NO your bootee"

Oh we laughed so hard. 

Now think of an asthmatic laughing during a breathing treatment.

Thankful Thursday

 

Breathing

The simple reverent act of breathing.

Belly full of comfort food given from a very kind and outgoing hand.

No hunger, no thirst. 

Then there she blows another 5 second fit of coughing.

Another breathing treatment. All that is needed is provided as vial after vial of albuteral gifts me a few hour of breathing.

An 8 am dentist appointment went quickly
A visit to the principle to gain understanding as to what happened with my Dove yesterday to only find out that this group of girls were all sharing and Dove comforting another child told her of being adopted from Russia.
The other children questioned her and disbelieved her. Calling her all the hurtful names. Because you know she does not sound Russian and she does not Look like one either...oy!...Running away from them into my presence hurt and angry. The other girls all shared the same story yesterday and then he and I called Dove in. Indeed she confirmed the incident. We spent some time empowering her to handle things with choice. Funny thing adults ask those stupid questions too.
They all forgave each other and the issue will be addressed in a meeting tomorrow.

Confusion cleared stories told and peace to be made. 

Grateful indeed.

10:15 high tail it up to Scottsdale 20+ miles away and made my appointment. We did not continue the EDMR for I am just to ill. We spoke of my sisters death. Of being a seer and the odd peace and how alright I was . How I got to say goodbye. I cried some too. Good stuff for the layers pealing away revel how much I miss her.

Drove home at noon and was terribly exhausted. I rested an hour and a half then had to go get Dove.

1:50 after a 15 minute pass out nap :) drew to attention and and urgency I was off. Dove to the Phyc. for a med check. Yes 20+ miles back to Scottsdale. She was thrilled to hear that the 504 was accomplished and gave me a high five. Dove has been placed on a second med to calm her at bed time.

I have an appointment for her on Monday with a pediatric PH.D. sleep specialist. 

Thank God for all things to care for my child

3 p.m. Steve came home early to meet Dash at the bus stop. I was yet up north. We pulled in and got water and I went right into my room and laid down and fell into a mass. Steve came in and gave me water. I slept a while. Too many things on a day when I was too sick to do it all. Unable to walk away from any of them I was made able.

I will be pulling vack a bit to care for me. My blog is sorta crashing for want of fodder and focus.

A season for all things.

I am told to add no more to my days but to tend to wife, mother and homemaker for a season.

I will still do the Art Master presentations every other week.

I am tending to becoming level on my medications.

Keeping stress low for the next 6 weeks will be a must to see if the medication is at a level dose.

All I have need of even learning to pace myself a bit better.

I am so sorry that I have neglected you dear ones. 

Your comments are a gift to me. 

I am simply worn out.

This respiratory thing is really kicking me while I am a bit down.

Yet I am at peace.

Bullies and God's perfect timing

Arriving on Campus to do Art Masters the teachers door was locked. I stayed at the door to await Dove's Class. All of a sudden I look up to hear a very angry hurt strong voice of a girl child demanding to be left alone. The child was being pursued by a group of girls. She was telling them to leave her alone!

Her face red with anger and pain and then behind her comes her little brother my son. "mom that girl kept pushing me away from Dove, she would not let me help her mom". Dove was so surprised to see me right there right then.

Dove was in a frenzy of anger and pain and it all happened right there before me!  Doing all  I could to check on her physical well being then tend to her emotional stance and trying to understand what was happening I came to an understanding that two girls who were jealous of her had bullied her to the point of anger. She used her strong voice to tell them to go away, only, they ignored her and chased her right to me! WOW GOD!. Bet those two were surprised to find out who I was. I then look up to see a child with Dove's new necklace I made her on. I asked the child why she had Dove's necklace on and to give it to me. I took it off of her. Dove said she had given it to her for being kind to her. I then told the child I would let her know if I would be holding on to it or not.

So the long and short of it.

One of these girls told Dove that

"her birth mother gave her away because she was a stupid Bitch" I learned this yesterday. It was the same child and another. The other child's teacher happened to just then come out of his room. He saw me with Dove and confirmed my identity and I thanked him for it. I then told him of what was said yesterday and that I happened upon one of his students bullying Dove and gave him her name.

Dove's teacher comes walking up and is surprised to see us and her so red in the face hysterical. She went right to the office to tell on the kids.

Doves last year teacher hears Dove use her power voice and hugged her. Praised her for it as well.

Dove went to wash her face.

I had to then go in a teach a class while my daughter sat face in her arms. Boy that was hard to concentrate. She had calmed and the last part of the message was to make your point using beauty and to let kindness be the rule of your hearts. Using sign language I signed her if she was alright, she nodded, I signed I love you told her I would be on campus.

Then I went out and stood at the wall and prayed for her.

Went in and taught the second grade class.

The kids are home now. Happy and proud of themselves. Dove angry that an innocent child was blamed and sent to the office. Dash is handsome and proud of defending his big sister.

I called his teacher and told her of what had happened. She was Doves third grade teacher and keeps an eye out for her she is going to go to the principle to tell him that Dove told them to leave her alone and they would not. TOO COOL!!!

She was chased right into my arms!

Gods perfect timing~

I am sitting here doing a breathing treatment. Still gotta call the innocent child's mother and thank her and acknowledge her kid for defending Dove. Dove wants that kid to go to skate tonight. Steve thinks I better stay home. I can not stop coughing. The two classes I taught was literally all I was able to do today. I was there though right when and where I needed to be.

Life and all it's glory

Been full days around here. 

Dash and Dove both were put up for student of the month independently by their teachers. The kids each got a paper certificate and a school pennant. The pennant was the big thing. They each were recognized. Dove a special award for being trust worthy. Dash was ill the day they were presented at assembly that was too bad.
Dash is doing better, now it is hard to get him on a breathing treatment for his preventative. He can't see why he should have to have it. I still have a hardy cough. A bit weak yet.

So lets see. There is a big broiler tray full of chicken legs in the oven. Stopping by the grocery this afternoon a good find less than $1 a pound for legs. Right now that was a decent price. With an Israeli side dish of grains boiled in chicken broth. A real good variety and so we have a bit of geography tonight.
The family has been watching installments of Gone With The Wind. We will finish it at supper tonight.

So happy I pushed into a nice supper, it smells so good. Temptations are to sit and rest, do nothing and wish for a wonderful meal to prepare itself. HA!

Well Dove just finished her report on New York. She can not wait to go. She learned about Broadway. She is thrilled with that city, always has been is that such a strange thing. Don't know why. She just came in to give me a copy of the report. "I printed one out for you mom". It is wonderful to see her dream. Speaking of her and dreaming we got her into a sleep specialist on Monday. Lord help us this child needs healing.

My maids are humming a full dishwasher

  

 Coffee brewing.

I keep ours in the freezer after I grind it.

The coffee grounds are for the tomato, and each dog gets half and apple.

So with coffee set brew I am off to the gardens.

  

  

 This ground got turned under last night.

Febuary 15th is goal date to have ready the garden for spring planting.

  

  

 Fed the hens

  

 fed the dogs

  

 fed the wild birds

  

 examined the front of the estate to see to all things living.

  

 The poppy and the other flowers are coming along

  

 The ferns are happy

  

Make my coffee in my blue glass with Stevia (a natural sweetener) and soy milk

  

 Went out to the garden to enjoy this

  

 Study study study

  

 Peas are happy

  

 Never know when I might need a parascope, so the kids left it for me HAHAH

  

 turnips are happy and to be pulled soon

 Got the plans began for placement, rotation gardening is a good thing, but you have to plan and study

Kindness Be the Rule of our Hearts

Do you love your wife? For her and for your children are you laying down your life.

What about the others? Are you living as a servant to your Sisters and you Brothers? Do you make the poor man beg you for a bone?

Do the widow and the Orphan cry alone?

How do we celebrate Valentine's day?

By honoring the memory of he who honored the law of kindness so many years ago.

Years after the greatest example of them all.

Hebrews 10:8 (English Standard Version)

 ⁸When he said above, "You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings" (these are offered according to the law),

If you really love me you would have remembered.

What sacrifice ( kind of gift) did he give you?

"you got a ring!"

Just what was the measure of love he has for you?

It is an industry gone wild.

A sacrifice to the law of show.

As a young bride it was so painful a thing if my husband forgot to get me a valentines gift of flower or trinket. Chocolate or gift. It was society that taught me that if he really loved me he would remember me.

As a bride of 27 years oh the stories I could tell of hurt feeling...but deeper yet the wounds of a man who often forgot. He fled to find something to give, nothing was of measure. Nothing could express in trinket the great love he has for me. Often after of scurrying about exhausted and weeping he would hand to me a simple card. OH! but within that card was his heart. Nothing wrought by the LAW of society. Within that card would be HIS HEART in words. 

He would weep for nothing could be bought to measure his love toward me. It was an affront to pretend to be able to do so. This a man who is free of pretense with me. A man like so many others who are forced to play a game that is set by the LAW.

Oh is that the way you truly desire to measure it?

Each morning at 6 a.m. from under a warm cover my vessel is raised up unless I am too ill to do so and a simple meat and cheese sandwich is prepared. My love shod his feet for the days work ahead.

Embraced as he tends his physical needs and prepares to exit for the day. Darkness yet covers the earth. He daily tends to the needs of wife, children and home...diamonds, rubies and all treasured jewels for me.

My heart is tender toward him for his heart is tender toward the needy. One in need if only near our hearts...roses, sweets and trinkets. Their car is broken, a faucet fixed, a part to make. Help me please and he is there. Daddy can you come and he is there...travel soft pillows and holidays.  All these thing would he give if he could.

Then to leave a man guilty for disregarding a LAW set to worship LOVE. May he be one who while worshiping God in action and in deed LOVES. 

For it is to LOVE AS GOD FIRST LOVED US that the spirit of Valentine can be found.

Do you love your husband? For he and for your children are you laying down your life.

May we bring LOVE to those who we long to live in freedom with.

Romance is titillating but LOVE is a lasting long embrace.

So what ever you do that it would be of the heart not of the letter of the law.

Be it written on our hearts and within our minds to LOVE moment by moment.

Not only when big business tells us to do so.

When through the peer pressure of others, following the letter of the law, condemn and use it against each other if/when we do not join in.

If he (she ) loves you you will celebrate the SPIRIT of Valentines every moment of your life.
Now if you get a little something just think of it as a bit of icing on the cake.

 

Friday night We went to a high School play of The Wizard of Oz

Daddy man bought each of us girls a rose.

Oh if you could of witnessed that little Dove's eyes so wide.

That is my sweet potato starter in the mason jar.
