Mighty Mud Mania "panic"

There is an annual event in Scottsdale Arizona.
Mighty Mud mania it has been held for almost 30 yrs. It has grown into a force to be reckoned with.

Dove braved the slide but did not like soap on her skin.
Sensory integration makes everything "too much"

She did venture down the hill and that was huge for her.

Parents had to leave the kids here to go through the line. My kids would have none of it! Even with a mom type volunteer they would not do it!
The obstical course was just too much for them.

Dove (hand in Hand) with a volunteer walked nervously around the edge. Her feet got just slightly wet that was enough. They even held back the crowd a few moments as to let her feel safer.
Dash ==="NO WAY!" "HE SAID, NO! MOM<>

We then found a very quiet corner of the massive event and with a little coaching from the volunteer the began to blow bubbles.
Dash had to be helped a lot.
I had to put my hand under the bubble to show how it would feel, then his hand on mine and then he allowed it to touch him.

Wow!
It was a moment epiphany in my utter frustration that it hit me.

"Just find what they like and do not even consider the event only the experience that they were able to take in. "
Sometimes I want my kids to be normal so bad I forget they are not.
They can not endure the sounds, sights and smells like we can.
I was able to help them find a scaled down corner and they had fun.
It was like going to Disneyland to climb stairs.

Dash started to let his shoulders down and have fun. This girl is the daughter of the woman who escorted us around trying to help my kids. The parents were not aloud in the event areas.

Wonder began to fall upon him.
Acceptance of my children and the limits they have fell upon me and I too began to find a relaxed moment.
It was so hard when they were both panicked.
The provision of the woman and her daughter really helped. The woman had a little cross dangling from one earring and a peace sign from the other.

This felt good!
I want one of these.
It was a very hot day today.

Even it though began to overwhelm as many people liked it too.
They do not like crowds at all!

Dove filled a bucket three times with sand to make a castle.
Dash just hung back and then began to enjoy imaginary things and tell me the storys of war heros as they fought in the sand.
Dash was hungry at 10:30 he wanted lunch. He needs to eat so often and a lot of it.
It was not lunch time yet at the Mc D so we went to target and got the book bags for school and lunch totes and a folder for each.
They will start school in three weeks.
I found pants for dove for $1.25 two pair and four tops cute button t's for $1.75 each.

We all went out to a treat of a Mc D.
That boy ate a Big Mac and 1/2 large fry and my bread, and wanted more.
It was a nice lunch togeather.
We all returnsed home. It was a bit stressful for me so I was worn out!

Looks like fun, I love the bubbles.

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
