A Fathers Day

A Fathers day can start at 4, when a good dog barks to be let out, at the door.
Then again at 5:56 better up than a puddle to fix.
A Fathers night with ear plugs in as to be able to sleep through the night (while his wife lies snoring)
A fathers life is one of loving care.
He works and toils for his children's mother who he adores.
He listens and teaches his young ones about life's war.

Our Father is a man of valor
He stands for Truth
Love and Honor.

His labor starts and his toil lingers.
All for us and the pleasure it brings him.
He works with pride in what he is doing.
He is acknowledged by his peers and beloved by his fellows.
It brings me peace to know character is prized above the "almighty dollar".

He eats his bread in pleasure ever grateful for the hands that prepare it.

Our Father is a Daddy
A Father of many.
Although he raises only two, his heart extends far out to the orphan.
He Loves his wife, for her and for our children he is laying down his life.
He is living as a servant to his sisters and his brothers.
Never has he made the poor man beg for a bone.

Our Sweet Mr Uncommon our Daddy Man as we lovingly call him,
Lives a "Father's Day ",
each and every day of his life.

They are playing army guy
They use a ball rolled down the hall to knock over each others "guy's"

Little Dove heard the fun...

Daddy Man brought her into the game.
They were taking turns.
He is stopping the ball.
They were laughing and having a great time.

Know Daddyman had a good time

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
