Lead in adds, files and scrapbooking/copier home

Hello, My day has been full.
As much as I love to come and blog, write my life out for the sake of my children and posterity ...keeping up with the estate is a love as well.

The folks gave me a bag of coupons and after I hit the lead in adds (that ended last night!) I was able to get about 65% total off of all of the bulk purchasing.
After getting in late it was left to today to tend to putting all of the bounty away.

I hit the Mother load of cereal.
The Special K was only 2.50 a large family size box after lead ins and coupons.
Some of the other cereals are not a common, but the babes were tiring of Cheerios.

I found this on a clearance these go for over $4 a jar normally.
That's 6 loaves of bread for the $1 yeast.
So that being said...

I was on the phone with a lovely call from one of my nieces by marriage...
And I sat there looking around as I conversed ...this is what I saw to do.
Now the little kitchen office is all up to date.
Everything is filled and the manuscript documents at hand in the bottom drawer.
I set up a new up to date 2009 file system top drawer and dead filed into boxes to sort later in the garage. This was a very time consuming thing to do.
I sorted all of those pesky business card and then removed all of them that were in binders, sorted them into like type.
Tomorrow they will get put into binders of like kind.
With the cook books now up on the shelves this became a copy center/
scrap booking/paper crafting/ art supply center.
It has a lot of work on it yet.
That big white binder has craft articles from the 1940's to current.
Really amazing stuff.
The green and brown files have sorted craft ideas I have saved for 25 years.
Lots of things I have made or have always wanted an excuse too :)

I have been reviewing a bit of the documentation and the pedigree of the family tonight.
On securing my life line as well..
Wow what some people chose not to believe?
Here all the dates names and history...
I was amazed at the phone call today from my niece (by marriage) she is trying to document the Native American heritage to help her husband have more funding for school. She is a really nice young woman with 2 kids one is special needs on the Autism spectrum. My nephew is pretty messed up and closed off poor man. Well par for the course. Funny how we forgive 70x70x a million and yet there comes a point in life where enough is enough. Owning my own stuff recently was really empowering. Knowing that those behaviors were often a simple unconscious act...that helps in understanding others. Life though is a list of choices and I have had enough of setting myself up to need to forgive. Time for a bit thicker a skin, a bit less toleration.

I have so enjoyed the acquisition of order today!
Inch by inch.

Hope you enjoy your many wonderful blessings.

It's difficult when someone you love continues to make the wrong choice. Forgiveness is beautiful but sometimes, you just have to protect your own heart. You can't control him but you can control how you react to him.

I always come here and GET inspired!!!

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
