Yep! I am human just like you!

Sung to the tune of Raw Hide

Laundry...laundry...laundry...
Keep that laundry going ah ha...
Sort em' out
load em' up
swap a load...
keep that dryer rollen' ahh ha
Don't try ti just ignore it
clinch the bullet and do it
Laundry....
"Hidden in the mounds of your dirty laundry"
:)

The line is going to be happily full in the morning
Today the children's hearts came first.

I took them to the mall today and had a wonderful time.
They are learning budgeting.
Oh you guys these babies just blessed me so much.
Dove noticed the price comparison of a toy they wanted and expressed herself as appalled to her brother!
It was so funny I had to cover my mouth and turn as to not let on I heard her.

We went out on my Pei Wei gift card that Doves class had given me.
Dove had a real hard time receiving this offer.
I had told them however that I would not disrespect their father by not adhering to budget. I really hope to be able to go camping on more time this month.

They received it with gratitude and we had a really nice lunch date together.

We then went to target.
They each had the allowance and that was it.
Dove have saved about a week and a half worth on top of what I owed them.

What she and he wanted left them each $2.50 short.
I told Dove that she could owe me.
And to my JOY!!!

She said "no way! I am not going to owe anyone anything! I hate owing money!!!!!!!
WHOOPEE
We did it!
We got it into her!

When I told Steve he almost teared up.

Funny yesterday I glanced over at this space...
I was up on a foot stool
face to face with my tea pots...
Look at the apron rack.
Well some things just belong.
Perfectly belong here don't they?

My new day spa
:)

the tub is set for a pedicure at any moment.
My life happens in moments...
Most times the moment is lost for there I am wanting yet no time to gather all the tools to do it.
The bath pillow is now ever set to nurture a tired woman.
It is normally kept in a cupboard.

The flowers are

Coreopis= Always cheerful, love at first sight
Cherry Blossom = A good education

Now for nail care.
I have ignored my hands most of my life.
They have been brutally bitten in times of great stress.
It is high time I give then center attention.
I stopped biting my nails this spring.

So here is everything I need to care for my hands.
The day this was set well I sat and did my hands and nail care with respect for myself.
The hand is one of the kiln fired pieces I made years ago it held my ring.
I love hands.
funny now I begin to love my own hands.
That is alcohol to prep the nail for polish.
Some of these polished will be too old.
Over the years I have tried to care for my hands and just forget or get too distracted.
Then the cuticle would dry and I would tear it and then bite the nail and so one.
Nail biting was one of the outlets I used for displaced emotional pain.
Now when I hurt I have learned to just use my words and be kind to myself.

My husband is his fathers Son.
Here is Doves tooth brush.
She has braces and this old electric sonna care was dead and the battery no longer would recharge.
So Steve re soldered it to have a different current and to run off of the umbilical of a flash light battery.
He really is very creative in his own right.
You know to replace this thing is a good $60.
Reuse/ repair and reinvent.

Well off to make a late loaf of bread for my hubbies lunch tomorrow.
See ya on the flip side.
:)

I am proud of you for no longer biting your nails. I have no fingernails, like you, I always bite them during stressful times. I really want to quit biting them.

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
