Sunday Smiles

Good Morning!
Last week I did what I was able to do.
I was down off my feet on Monday and Tuesday due to the climbing of four flights of steps.
On Wednesday I was back up and out tending the sweet earth I have been amending these last two months. and what a wonderful payoff for all my efforts.
My Cantaloupe is up.

On Wednesday I put in the 6 packs of summer squash. Yellow crook neck and zucchini.
I have a squash blossom this morning it is so vibrant. I am not yet able to go snap a shot of it.

I will be raising the cantaloupe and the squash vertically on the re bar trellis.

Blue lake green beans were also planted Wednesday.

Peas and snow peas also.
The earth was wonderful. I only ran into a small patch of clay and was able to break it up.
It has been unusually rainy here.
I was concerned about the upcoming bed rest the neglect of the garden and bails. I heard the soft Spirit say "I'll Cover you"... So sweetly . So I just did all I was able to do and trusted. Trust well placed. For Thursday night it rained a lot!
Then Friday night it rained! Unexpectedly we got an inch of rain. Saturday in the night it sprinkled and the days have been overcast. Today it is expected a heavy evening rain. It is also over cast.
So even the bails have received a good daily soaking!
HE COVERED ME.
Our hearts and dreams matter to HIM>

The little white seeds are Kentucky Blue Lake green beans.
Look at the soil! It has really transformed!

All of the rows were covered in a thick layer of straw.

This morning I have a wonderful squash bossom!
I am so excited for my 48 hour forced rest is almost up on the implant. I will be able to get back to tasks soon. My left knee is so young and awesome. It feels like I was given back some youth. The right knee improved some overnight.

The kids are playing "Go Fish" and Beloved friend my dear love is still asleep (amazingly) given the young ones. He took such good care of me. I have carrots and radishes to mix in a row. Beets , celery and brocolli to get into the earth too.
The straw bails will be ready for some 10-10-10- soon and then some potting soil. I will have the tomatoes in the bails real soon. The lettus will also go into bail.

Dash is requesting the use of my easel and painters palat and a canvas. Little cutie. That will take a bit of effort to assemble.

Remember do what you can and HE will cover you for the rest.:)

You are amazing.

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
