Tackle It Tuesday

Last night 9:P.M.

Good Morning!
Last night during mens group I tackled the painting of the open walls in the Studio. I saw my couch and TV in here so I am soing the work to make that a reality. The men were amazed to see the room all but done to the point I was able. I am so excited aboutthe future. i hope that this adventure away from the normal things is not too boring for you all. I do miss cooking and meal prep and all. This is a priority to get this place staged and listed.
I had a call from a friend (MILove) she is going to loan me some chairs and silk trees for the living room. I anm having a yard sale on Friday and Saturday. With a birthday party Dove is too attend on Sunday afternoon. My days are so full.
I have boxes to pack and these shelves to empty today.

This needs to be completed, boxes to pack, papers to sort so my Beloved can put the shelfs in the garage tonight. I'll paint that wall and have the desk in the other room. The file drawers will wind up out in the garage in that big hayworth.

10:20 A.M. Wow!

Now the Kitchen looks like this though! :)
Inch by inch...Foot by foot:)

Beloved came home after overtime and moved the shelving units, the jewelers desk and the cutting table out to the garage.

He moved the file cabinet too.
The correspondence desk went into the living room.
I finished the wall all but the ceiling trim.
It is 8 P.M.
I am so tired!

This room is all but ready to receive the entertainment center and couch.
Now all we need is help moving it. I have a call into my nephew.

The Kitchen however looks like this :(
Wow! we did it.
We saw another foreclosure house today and got into the lock box to view it.
The children explored and warmed up to the idea of moving a bit.
They now have a sort of "face " to put on it. Although this is not necessarily the house we get. They really liked it. The enthusiasm was so encouraging to me. They played house and moved us into it( pretend).

I need to make an add for this table on Craigs list

This did not get done
This is the drawer of antiquated cassette tapes. You know you have lived when albums,8 tracks and cassettes are a thing of youth and a collection of memories. We have always been a multi media family.
I did plant some flowers out front. They look very pretty.
I used reds and purples.
Daddy Man is reading to the children. We sitill have the roller and brush to wash out. I wish I were done with the trim. I am just too tired to finish it!

Donetta...it has been a while since I have been out and about visiting. But I was roaming around my page and remembered what neat stuff you always did! Looks like you have been SUPER busy!
Much has happened in your life as well as mine.
Glad to see you again sweet friend~ do not overwork yourself!
God bless you!

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
