Day of rest

Hello!
We had a wonderful play date yesterday. I really enjoyed taking Dove to her girl friend.
It is with misfortune however that she lives on the 3rd and 4th floors of an apartment complex that has no elevator.
Well needless perhaps to say that cortisone does not really help much of anything except inflammation. The bone on bone is awaiting the Synvisk approval from the insurance company, I am in a world of hurt.
I had to take Dash his hearing aides this morning and stumbled upon a little girl who had locked heself in the running car as the mother who was raging at her stomped and cussed. The dad came and cused louder and more angroly at her and the door was unlocked. The kid followed me down the street and the mother was raging at the child.
I spent my morning praying for the little girl.

I took a pain pill as I cried myself to sleep and another after the kids had left for school.
So ...not wanting to let a day go to naught, ...I tore up newspaper and separated out the glossy paper and the coupons.

Only the news print is going in the compost.
I am going to put all the glossy in the recycle bin.

I sat with my leg up all day!
Tearing up newspaper for the compost.
I was able to get all but about 6 inches of the paper torn.
The in laws sent all the newspaper my way.

I got a lot of coupons out of the lot.
I thought I would keep and eye out for the item we might use.
I would use them if the items were on sale or reduced already.
I doubt that I would hunt after any of them.

We had a wonderful rain storm.
God watered the bails and the garden for me!
I was so grateful to him for helping me in my efforts.
We will be having a menu this week. It is in my head , not yet on paper or tyed out.

I hope all of you are having a great day.
Amrita I will try to do a post for you on the bail gardening.
I am going to go lay down a few moments before beloved is due home.
The pain pill is making me steepiy and the pain...
Well the pain is attempting to whittle down my reserves.
Bone on bone hurts! My knee is cracking and popping.
I can get in tomorrow if I want to. Not much use in it unless the clearence comes through for the injections. That is more pain then it would get a lot better.
Pain with gain.
:)

Sending you sweet prayers my friend, love you.

Older women likewise teach the younger women...

• how to love their husbands
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.

  • A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
  • The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
  • Return with Honor
  • The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
  • "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
  • “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
  • "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
  • "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"
