History forgotten is lost to generations thereafter
Words be few and days have been many from the last visit here.
It is that I have lost the passion in my blogging.
From plagiarism this voice of mine in absence pulls me away.
Where others have made income off of it without even the grace of simple acknowledgment. I, I must let go of it as I count it a gift to others. I just feel a struggle over the issue. Letting go of it over and over.
Great efforts taken to share the experience, strength and hope.
Bringing seeds and ideas of post to others. That the mutual shared hearts of the many so tied together.
My heart here was to share the whole of who I am freely.
Spirit, soul and body.
From this form of muscle bone and sinew I serve. By presenting tasks and that shared knowledge I found joy.
A way of giving back to those segments of society that effort to attain the experience at homemaking and the skill sets I have mastered. Not wanting to make this a place of funding or the luker. This by choice alone. Just free paying life forward. For in my days I have had VERY few mentors who would teach me. Those years teaching myself were efforts of great study and trial and error.
A philosophy of mine is that history repeats itself both positive and negative. That history forgotten is lost to the generations thereafter. So I in this blog hoped in part to conserve those skills of the home, the arts, parenting, economics, gardening, tending of all things living. Gleaning and gaining the knowledge of so many of you who also have the passion to learn and to educate.
In deed my being is worn of the last two months with all the illness, interventions for the kids and the day in day out efforts to run the estate. A blessed life yes, to whom much is given much is required.
Within the soul of this woman a writer lies waiting to open my mind at risk of rejection. Once my voice was much less fettered. Now it has grown weak and wherry. I visit and fill my soul with the minds of many who yet share voice. So many things that offer a kinship of sorts. Reflections gained through the gain that only experience, understanding, knowledge finally culminating in wisdom pure and shared with a heart filtered through kindness. This was my heart to find voice here in this my " life uncommon". Finding my place caring too much of religion or prejudice judgments that fog peace leaving strife in it's wake. Above all things strife is a repulsion to me. To find voice within this soul of mine hushed at the avoidance of strife. Hushed that perhaps those who row the still waters might avoid a splash if a rock the boat.
Indeed also here with the fullness of my mind given health issues with children, spouse and self. Appointment after appointment that sets me so behinds here at home.
It is my spirit that can only visit hear at times. It is welcome, yet singularly, without the whole of me. Mornings spent embracing the Manuel of my life I long to make a safe place here. Where those souls who so wounded by hypocrisy religion and rejection can come and gain kindness to their day. Not pulled away through false condemnations that some "Christian" blogs can bring often without intent. So many many wonderful blogs of those who believe are simply an affront to those who are hurting and driven away through life and false expectations of others.
Yet too the work I am doing with the EMDR that you can read about here is very taxing yet so very rewarding.
I long once again to be true faced in the whole of me here. Without fear, bold tenacious vivacious full of life once again. Alas I am yet hushed.

NaBloPoMo
A message to all members of NaBloPoMo
The theme for next month's daily blogging is BEAUTIFUL. It's a word that means something different to everyone, which makes it ideal for a month's worth of interpretation and reinterpretation.
If you'd like to be included on the September blogroll with everyone else who's giving this daily blogging thing a shot, go here and follow the directions at the top of the page -- http://www.nablopomo.com/blogrolls/september-2009-blogroll
As always, blogging on the theme is not required for inclusion on the blogroll.
I've got some HTML badges up, but please feel free to invent your own and leave a link in the comments! http://www.nablopomo.com/htmlbadges/september-2009-html-badges
Good luck, thanks, and happy blogging!

Gratituesday
I have been sewing today...yep
Just need to put a zipper and the binding for the arm holes
Feeling creative and still is a marvelous thing.
My husband has been pursuing my heart attentively the last couple of days and it is like being in a waterfall looking through the prisms and the light shines in the calm of the cave behind the falls. That safe cave where it is cooled by the silence in the midst of the roar.

Stones cool as those who have set foot to that path with me have helped lead the way. Bound no more to the doldrums that held me captive the other day.
Bravery exalts the weak and courage does not falter.
Having confidence in the tasks before me.
Today my heart does not waver and quake.
For this yes the fall on my face sorta
"thank you Lord for lovin' me"
I want to keep walking that path.
Just had to crawl through a few of those crevices

What of the internal compass of man?
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.

We all depend on each other.
Even a fish has the world at their needs...
constants in our cycles of life
It all has a beginningan internal compass
It by Him is gained
That knowledge
Through waters murky.Following become routine
our way became unclear.

Without instruction
lost
masses caught up in a surge
exchange of the eternal
things shine as gold
pretty smiles to tempt us
Is our compass just for show
or a pretense of our private hours.
Man made courses search a way upstreamFor the rivers run choked
in the schemes of man

We reckon with maps
for a better way
Given steps we climba delusion
White waters forcesa mighty foe holds us back
press on
PRESS ON
Compass trueguild our way

For others we fish
Real them in
But ask...
The intent of the catch?

Degrees easily off
a course that is true
Children capture unknowingfor power and praise

We age then degrees now infinite
mastered into deception

Old men who humor capturing goals
Thus killing the wisdom of Elders
In all sorts of arrogant ways

So lost without compass
we become an others' prey
Lost with out compassJumping into jaws that devour

We then bitten hard
as a meal consumed

But...Oh those travelers
Who face currents head strong
Fighting all odds compass true
Fighting for me for you.

Find yee your compass
Choose well a set course.
For who you set course with you will come to be known.Be they a common or your bother your friend

Even to gain a perfect devise
A high tech direction...
what will it gain you?
At the end destination achieved
Studied well
usage distracting from the inner guied

Surrounded in the glory of honorable men
Sound compassonly in Him...
Those that I live love for
May carry again out to sea
Inner compass
may I plant now within them.
Set with intent purposed to be
When from these spawning tidesThey enter the world to begin

"unnecessary" Quotation marks
Funny blog
My Darling was educating me on the improper use of quotation marks. To miss quote is to say the opposite. I learn something new every day. Apparently this is a very common problem.
Also the other issue he spoke was this, and that.
This and that is the proper use of and says he.
Well I do hope that my use of punctuation continues to improve :)

My Friend
There is a friend that sticks closer to me than any brother.
My friend loves me more than any other.
I Love him with a depth that the deepest well could never measure.
The other day after a answer to a hearts desire (a wheel barrow) was found on a curb for free...my friend saw it mattered to me.
He laughed and smiled and asked me "where did that come from?"..
I told him of how I had told God I needed one.
I reminded him of when we had spoken of it together just the day before.
He laughed with me in delight.
Now to him it became "MY Treasure".
That made it His treasure too.
The very definition of friendship.
A simple worn tired wheel borrow.
Each night after work he was to be found out in the garage.
The first evening , surprised was I, as he came to me and told of how he had filled the tire.
He told me he had varnished the handles as well...
looking lovingly at me he said..."so they wont be so hard on your hands, honey".
Each day he repeated the task finishing the tin of turpentine cleaning up the brush...
He even made a special stop at lunch to get some more.
One day he made comment to me of concern that it was still possibly going to cause me a splinter.
He was so concerned.
There stands that tool to help my life with the ease it will offer to my back.
My friend...
He would give me the moon.
He could not give me a wheel barrow for budget was not amenable.
So my other friend (God) provided it,
our(God's and mine) friend (my husband ) set it to good working order.
Being friends is caring about what the other needs.
What the other cares about is as important as your own breadth.
Friendship to us is a place of safety.
Intimacy with another where trust runs as pure as a spring in a pristine forest.
We have implicit trust in each other.
When I asked him what our friendship means to him...
It is that trust.
That implicit trust that offers safety here in this realm.
That is the foundation for all the other gifts that grow along side the pure stream trickling through our years together.

Last night as he was cleaning up dung at my request, when asked me...
"would you like me to varnish this shovel handle too?...it looks like it must be hard on your hands too."? Once he offered his help to me...he then saw my needs more clearly.
Then there is that above and beyond...where we look for ways to further give to one another.
This giving is often within the confines of unique love languages.
Sometimes though as friends we step out of our common way of offering love, extending the self into those talents yet explored.
In that friendship grows.
We each grow and set the stage for safety in growth.
To grow , to allow growth and to nurture it.
Oh friendship in marriage is a primary source of growth in humanity.
Without the unity of friendship in marriages the whole of civilization shall tetter.
Within it is the sorce of a secure nation.

Simple Womans Day Book

For Today...
Outside my window... It is raining heavily and has been an hour or two now. The chickens are covered with a tarp. It sounds so peaceful. It is late night and dark. Makes me just want to go crawl under the covers
I am thinking... Hot shower, sleep.
From the learning rooms... Skills gained this last two months, Sour dough bread baking, yogurt making, and laundry soap making. Dove is doing great in all her lessons. Her character is wonderful . We did our valentines, and I to listened to her kindness in logic was just priceless. Dash was adorable as his thought about all the kids and gave to each one personally.
Dash won an award . He is in second grade and at a 4.6 reading level and just was awarded a math club award. Dove also is very advance in her reading and received another Pizza prize award.
I am thankful for... For the health of my sweet crew. The love of my sweet man. The glow of happiness in the children s eyes. Dash prayed at evening meal. He had gratitude for all things we have. Food, shelter each other...I am rich.
From the kitchen... Need to bake the loaf for lunchboxes
I am wearing...jeans socks and a pale yellow sweeter set. I had on a nice pale green necklace set.
I am reading... current events and world news.
I am hoping... Success in the chores of house and home and to also be able (more importantly ) to serve the kids at the elementary . All of that in a balance.
I am creating...Home made soap, yogurt, sour dough bread and a big mess in the kitchen.
I am hearing... The silence. The quiet late night hum of my computer.
Around the house... Laundry is mounded in the living room.
The kitchen is very well used and yogurt and bread are living well:)
One of my favorite things... Is when my children come to me after the story time with Daddy. They tell me the one last thing that is important to them for me to know or hear. I get a gentle cuddle and a soft smile exchanged.
A few plans for the rest of the week... Bible Study in the morning, service work at the school Tue., Wen. and Fri. Then on Thursday I have to go get the neuro testing at a 3 hour endurance of the courageous soul!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

The Simple Woman's Daybook...
The sun is shining and the children are eating apples and playing on the lawn. It is in the low 70*'s. Rock , Paper , Scissors shoot! and the dog is barking in the play....
I am thinking...
Wow I made mayonnaise today! That was so cool. It looked like it was going to curdle. I ran out to the hen house and grabbed two eggs out from under my broody hen. They were nice to room temperature and I decided to put the white in also and YE PEE it set! Woo Hoo! I do not have to go to the store!!!!!!!!
I am thankful for...
Happy jousting children who are healthy and having a grand time of it in the warm sunshine.
From the learning rooms...
(if this applies) Many gardening sessions for myself. Dash is self motivated and doing extra work for benefits at his class room at school. I have my Bible lesson to finish for tomorrow.
From the kitchen...
Beef roast has been in the crock pot all day, four loaves bread baked, 6 mixes prepped for the next batch of loaves. Mayo is jared and in the refer, egg shells are ground and given to the chickens for calcium. one and a half gallons of lemon aide was prepared from the juice and a simple sugar syrup made today. After grinding the winter wheat and bagging up the 25 pounds of bread flour the 6 bagged mixes for the future bread batches were set into the whole wheat berry drum for room temp keeping and two of the mixes deep froozen to be set out in the future when I make bread. Jasmine loose leaf tea was steeped and enjoyed as well. The breakfast cookies I made and baked over the weekend were put up into serving size baggies and froozen.
Dishes ................oh ya! The dishwasher will need to be emptied from this morning and reloaded as well as the hand dishes. It does not look like it snowed there any more (all the flour is cleaned up).
I am wearing...
Blue jeans. white ankle sox, cloud walker black leather shoes and a royal blue turtle neck. My hair is tied into bands and pulled up and back.
I am creating...
a blog post...haha, a birthday gift for a friend.
I am going...
to enjoy a rest.
I am reading...
Some beading books, gardening information on soil preperations.
I am hoping...
That if my Husband gets the new part time extra job that his health maintains and that we can do this thing with grace and little effect on the childrens stability. I hope that it is not an issue to being his day at 10:30 at his regular job and then have the mornings open to do the part time job. It would be wonderful to be able to keep up the savings to recover our losses in our retirement and emergency fund. We are so blessed, but to whom much is given much is required.
I am hearing...
fiction flowing from the very imaginitve daughter who is directing the play outside with her brother.
Around the house...
It smells of fresh baked bread! although the counters are clean the dirty dishes are high, baking pans and cookie sheets and lots of things like blender jar and food processor parts.
One of my favorite things...
The safety of the children hearing them home. Although it is my heart to home school out of obedience I have them in school. It is always such a good feeling to have them home, safe and sound.
A few plans for the rest of the week:
Bible study in the morning, a girls night out to celebrate an old friend and the EEG study on my brain on Wednesday morning. Time at home on Thursday and Friday is a delight for I desire to garden.
"this is a hotel for homeless people, mom...they can sleep here and get some food for free"

Older women likewise teach the younger women...
• how to love their children
• how to be self-controlled
• how to be pure
• how to be keepers at home
• how to be kind and submissive (not subservient) to their own husbands. (See Titus 2:3-5)

By Maya Angelou
That a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean living,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven.'
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.
When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!
Words have power. Here are a few of my favorite sayings.
- A warm cup of tea is like a cuddle with a friend.
- The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for ‘friend’ than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, “the one who carries my sorrows on his back.”
- Return with Honor
- The sage anticipates things that are difficult while they are easy, and does things that would become great while they are small. All difficult things in the world are sure to arise from a previous state in which they were easy, and all great things from one in which they were small. Therefore the sage, while he never does what is great, is able on that account to accomplish the greatest things."
- "HOME IS WHERE YOUR STORY BEGINS"
- “Live so that when your children hear these words they think of you… Fairness Caring Integrity Honesty Love Trust.”
- "O Lord help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomarrow I may have to eat them."
- "No man has ever been shot while doing the dishes"

Amy has clicked her heals and flown to her real home. There is no place like home.
This was given to me for the third time in just a few weeks.
"For the LORD your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song."
