They want to decorate pumpkins like their friends, so i can steal what the devil meant for harm, and use it for God's glory. I'll like to you on Monday.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4648772162641668133.post-4872362502838663302007-10-06T12:55:00.000-07:002007-10-06T12:55:00.000-07:00I'm with you on this one. What we typically did was let the kids dress up in something like a kitty or a princess and then take them to their grandparents and a couple of aunts and uncles and that's it. I'm glad those days are over!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05399411347572833058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4648772162641668133.post-33745269684885489442007-10-05T19:19:00.000-07:002007-10-05T19:19:00.000-07:00I totally understand your heart. My three are all ...I totally understand your heart. My three are all grown now, and we handled this holiday all sorts of ways, to the mockery of others. Now I have grandchildren and their parents don't share my views at all. So they celebrate naively and innocently, avoiding all the evil aspects. I have always emphasized the Harvest season and God's plentiful supply, over Halloween. You are right to teach them truth. But I wonder if over-reacting would defeat the purpose? Yes, do pray and let the Lord lead your heart. I'll pray with you.Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08601718675860240867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4648772162641668133.post-90628662854460874792007-10-05T14:52:00.000-07:002007-10-05T14:52:00.000-07:00Let God guide you dear one.Let God guide you dear one.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09275456448997619944noreply@blogger.com
